Today I'll be featuring a lipstick from the Divine Knight Holiday Colour Collection. If you have these two shades or if you have so many lipsticks & not sure how else to wear them - go create a dimensional lip makeup as shown below. It is still wearable with an edgy trendy look.

Step 1: Line your lips with Cherry lip pencil.

Step 2: Fill in with Prepare For Pleasure lipstick (Divine Knight collection)

Step 3: Using a lip brush, create a dimensional look with Private Party lipstick (Divine Knight collection)

Halloween 2013 at M•A•C

Truly I don't celebrate Halloween. I enjoy them, not because of what it means but because of the experiences I get through the Halloween makeups.

Every year in M•A•C Cosmetics, we showcase our different side of creativity through this dramatic, horror yet beautiful makeups. Though in the Singapore market, we're not allowed to have the blood-sucking look. Just so we don't scare our customers off while we're on counter base. But somehow i feel some customers look forward to M•A•C when it comes to Halloween. Hahaha....

This year, our trainer had a new strategy for the Halloween theme look. All M•A•C Artists were to submit our very own creation of a Halloween facechart.

To be honest, I totally am not an expert in my own facecharts & I know it takes unlimited practices to a masterpiece. Therefore, with the time constraint I've decided to do a simple Halloween facechart that's still beauty but scary & still "wearable" to those who's still conservative.

Our trainer then chose Top 5 Halloween Facecharts Winners & had them recreate the look onto a real face. Based on these 5 Halloween look, M•A•C Artists are to choose 1 look & have it on Saturday, 26th October. So to say we all had a Halloween themeday islandwide!! So exciting!!

Nails of the week: Deep Sea

I'm in the mood for deep, dark colors for my nails & toes. But wasn't in for the gothic black look. So I settled for this deep dark green & I've used 2 coats as shown in photo below.

Perfume of the Week: Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet

A customer came today - who bought $2,000++ of MAC products last 2mths & whom i remembered had spent 3hrs makeover with my other MAC Artist that night.

Today, I made her spend only $300++ with 30mins quick makeover. Ooooh... Then she was happily spraying her Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet all over me ;p She said this made many men turn as she passes by.

AidilAdha 2013 Look

This year's AidilAdha look was pretty simple, I only had 15mins to do everything (in the car, as usual).

*those who've not known, I've been doing my daily makeup in the car - to save journey time*

There was just:

- skincares, primer

- foundation, concealer, powder

- brows, upper eyeliner, fake lashes, lower beige liner

- light contour, blush

- lipliner, lipstick

Ooooh yeaaaa....all these above looked so natural don't they but many wouldn't realise how much u need to compliment those features.

Tips: Never go too pale or nude for your natural makeup unless you're planning for a bronzing look.

FIDè Fashion Week 14Oct (Part 2)

Event: FIDè Fashion Week 2013

Location: Marina Bay Sands Convention Hall

Call time: 1600hr

Show time: 2130hr

End at: 2300hr

Key Artist: Romero Jennings, Director of Makeup Artistry, North America.

Designer: Stephane Rolland, a French fashion designer & a haute couture brand.

Backstage dress code: flat shoes, only pants, no low-cut outfit, no bulky accessories, hair all back.

And MUST write down notes of è whole demo to execute è exact makeup look for our models.

Social media to tag our photos on. #FIDeFW

So once Romero Jennings done the demo, we'll have to take photos to capture the look & proceed to our own makeup table to start the makeup, referring back to our written notes.

Definitely admires Romero's work! But honestly I'll say it's not as easy as it looks. Plus different models, different features, different tones. There may be a few changes to the look after the designer do some checks, then it's our turn to bring our models to key artist for checks.

Here's my female model of the night & there's so much for me to improve on. I wish I'm a perfectionist with great skills & time management ;)

And there came few male models from Vietnam for a natural makeup >

Thanks to Haizah, MAC SG Event Artist, for helping & guiding on how to conceal a tattoo. Can you actually see it now, on the side of her neck?

As today was only for 1 designer, it wasn't as crazy as other days where my colleagues would have 3 or more designers for a night show. Keep on rocking, MAC SG team!
