Hi.
It's been TOO long.
Yes.
I'm aware.
I missed blogging too.
But i stopped because i've been busy, tired & sometimes lazy.
Honestly, do alot of people still read blogs now?

If you havent noticed.
I am now a Stay-At-Home-Mom.
And still doing some freelance makeup services.
I am loving it.

There are brands approaching me.
Opportunities come pouring in.
So now.
Yes now.
I will try my very best to keep this beautiful blog of mine, updated.

For now, let me clean up some dust on the banners & sidebars.
It's 2am in Singapore. Haasband & babyboy are asleep. Its okay.

Wati's Solemnization

I have to thank Fahimah Kamsin, who had private message me via Facebook & linked me up with this makeup job. It's for a friend of hers, Wati & it's for Wati's solemnization. Which was dated in 2 weeks time after i was approached.... Short notice but thankfully i'm available & everything went smoothly. ;)

A sneak peek of behind the scene.

Have to say i'm blessed to have done Wati for her solemnization. She's such a friendly & easy to work with client. Plus she have great friends who are so helpful, with the hijab styling & all.

So what i have used on the beautiful bride?

I wanted that sweet & demure look as her outfit was a beautiful silver piece with touch of crystals & white. Then i remembered i have a gorgeous eyeshadow i really feel it'll look beautiful on Wati, both in photos & off-photos.

Tinsel is a sparkling, light-medium pewter gold with warmer undertones and a glitter finish. And is one of the reason why i love my KatVonD MetalMatte eyeshadow palette.

What did i pair it with?

As i still want it to look more "natural" by just adding a pretty brown from one of my current favourite palette too.

Texture: matte

Would i recommend you to get these two palettes?
Yes. Plus they both have a good mix of matte & shimmery eyeshadows. Buildable from a natural look to more pigmented finish if you like.

#MACcosmeticsSG: Smoked Almond (on Alawiyah)

The moment i applied this beautiful natural lipstick shade on Alawiyah, i know i have to blog this. It was like the perfect natural shade for her, plus she's very much used to bright rose shades on her daily makeup look.

This MAC Liptensity lipstick is so gorgeous, wearable & feels comfortable too! I am in love with it! I don't have a photo of myself wearing it, yet. And i only plan to wear this Liptensity when i'm not with the babyboy. (he'll smudge off my lippies, thus i only can wear matte liquid lip most of the time)

If you love long-wearing lipstick but hates matte texture, you HAVE TO TRY this Liptensity. Its key claims said to be long-wearing up to 8-hours!!

Makeup Class with Alawiyah & Fazilah

Makeup class for the mothers on Mother's Day Sunday.
What a way to celebrate, right..... Of course, it was fun & exciting!
With these bunch of kecoh new people i just met who were introduced by a very supportive friend of mine, Muneera. The more kecoh when three of them, combined! Hehehe... (missing Muneera, not in photo)

I shall say no more. Just look at our "makeup table".
Also filled with delicious expensive chocolates & different types of cheese!!

Well, my style of a personal makeup class is to get my participants to be more hands-on. Of course if i'm going to be doing all the practicals, that'll be called a makeover. Right...

So i also love to get them to pour out all (yes, i really mean ALL) their own makeup products. Tell me honestly, how many of your products get untouched? 80%? 50%? Why? Well don't worry. I truly understand why. ;)

I started with:

1. Prime look (all about the skin)
2. Day look (added eyeshadow to their daily makeup routine)
3. Weekend / Night look (created different colored smokey eyes)

Additionally, Alawiyah requested to record a video while i do a quick smokey eye makeup on her daughter. Therefore, we ended the class with a brown, black & blue based smokey eye makeup looks on different faces.

At the end of my personal makeup class, i want my participants to be able to use their own makeup products, achieved their desired look, find solutions or alternatives to their difficulties &.......understanding that PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT. Well even i, myself, am still practising on my own makeup skills. 

I'm so glad they love it. A happy client makes a happy makeup artist too ;)
